A Great Holiday Season and Good Company

Hari Raya was a great time and break for many of us. For us, we went to Cameron Highlands. It was a long and windy drive. The weather up there, during the day it was frightfully warm and came evening onwards, it was delightfully cool to cold. I've learned something, not to plan a trip during a long holiday season, it was jammed at certain parts of the highland. What was more enjoyable, was the company of people. This is the first time I'm actually posting pictures for you to look at.

The road was so tight that we've all decided to abandon our vehicles and walk the mile up to Sg. Palas Boh Tea Centre. It was a nice breezy walk up. Had opportunities to stop to look at the scenic tea plantation and even dipped our feet into the cool stream.

Here in Boh Tea Centre, you do not have to worry about being hungry after trodding the hills. You will an array of pastries, savouries and not forgetting teas, to fill your hunger pangs and parched throats. Make sure you get the best tables especially the deck area overlooking the tea valley and hills. You'll be awed by the sight and air. With the cool weather, you should have a hot cuppa with your dearest, you'll be warm all the way.

Whenever you're in Cameron Highlands, make sure you have a steamboat meal. The vegetables are so fresh you can even taste its freshness. They are exceptionally crunchy and tasty. The corn served is so sweet that you can even eat it raw and not to mention juicy too. A steamboat meal is a must.

Cameron Highlands sure has lots of beautiful flowers. Almost everywhere we went, we could see them in full bloom. They come in assorted of colours and sizes. It was indeed a feast for the eyes.







We had the chance to drop into YTL's Cameron Highlands Resort for a spot of tea. It was a pleasant experience. This resort used to be owned by the Merlin, it has been refurbished and bought over by YTL. It's a very nice place to be in, rather quaint I must say. May consider going there for our anniversary. We've been to YTL's Pangkor Laut Resort and it was a delighful tropical experience altogether.

I'm really looking forward to another holiday trip. Year end's coming, I should start planning for a next destination to head to.
