Luke's Sleeping Positions

Yeah, it's pictures of Luke again. Can't help it because I'm a happy dad. And I love and adore him a lot. You'll know it when you have your own child.

Anyways, here are shots I've took of him sleeping. Someone once said that he's got style, I agree with that person. That someone is Delicia. Look at the way he sleeps, some postures looks like as if he's dancing.

An Assurance with a Rainbow

This was a lovely sign for me. I had been praying a lot for Luke, in terms of his health and need, while I was driving on the LDP. And a lovely assurance came with this picture painted in the sky that Luke's taken care of. I'm thankful for that sign of assurance.

The perfect picture of a rainbow.

My First Gift

This is such a meaningful gift for Luke. It's his very first gift, simple but a very meaningful gift from Kevin and Esther. Yvonne and I love it alot. Will save this balloon for him even after it has deflated. Thanks Esther and Kevin.

The lovely balloon.

These are pictures I've nicked from Esther's blog. Lovely sequence of Luke yawning.

Sept 12 2007 is Luke's Day

Finally Luke Damien Wong Jun has arrived, 2.38pm at 3.03kg. His much awaited arrival has brought much tears of joy for both Yvonne and me. Yvonne started having contractions at about 4am this morning. It wasn't so painful and today happens to be her regular check-up with the gynae. Her contractions became more regular in the intervals of every 10 minutes while waiting for her turn see the doctor. When it was her turn, I told the doctor that Yvonne was having contractions and straight away the doctor checked the pelvic, she was already 3cm dilated. She had to warded then and there itself.

While I was at the admission desk, the nurses called me to say that the doctor wanted to see me urgently, then there itself I knew that there was a problem. True enough, my son had defecated inside the womb and Yvonne had to go for an emergency caeserean. Not to our wanting, we had to opt for it in order to help save Luke from been drowned by his faeces. We actually wanted natural birth. After through it all, we are thankful to God that Luke's healthy and strong. His jaundice level is at the minimal level. Really thank God for all His blessings upon us as a family. Ask me if I'm thankful, I'll say 'Yes'. Ask me if I'm really happy? Yes, I feel like I'm on top of the world. It's all beyond words. An experience beyond comprehension.

His very first picture on his very first day.

Luke's Evolution

It has been a fascinating 9 months for us, from the day of conceiving to the final days of delivery of our little boy, Luke Damien Wong Jun. It is so unbelievable that God made women bear children, and the sight of seeing something moving in the womb is so 'out-of-this-world'. Till today, I still stand in awe. Here are some scanned pictures of Luke in the womb and you will see the progress of his growth. You have to figure out which is his head or spine. Have fun looking.

Thinking About You

Been thinking about you alot lately. Memories and thoughts of our time together are still fresh, seems like it was just yesterday. Unfortunately, time has drifted us apart. Our constant communications seems to be something of the past. Our paths together came to a separation when we chose our own roads to follow. But through it all, I want you to know that you're remembered, in me, my thoughts and in my prayers. Thank you for those fond memories, my heart treasures. It would be nice to hear from you to know that you've read this.
