Turn Back The Clock

Another day is ended
And I still can't sleep
Remembering my yesterdays
I begin to weep
If I could have it over
Live my life again
I wouldn't change a single day

I wish that I could turn back the clock
Bring the wheels of time to a stop
Back to the days when life was so much better

Lying here in silence
Picture in my hand
Of a boy I still resemble
But I no longer understand
And as the tears run freely
How I realise they were the best years of my life

I wish that I could turn back the clock
Bring the wheels of time to a stop
Back to the days when life was so much better

You might say it's just
A case of giving up
No
But without these memories where is the love
(So) Where is the love?

If I could have it over
Live my life again
I wouldn't change a single day

I wish that I could turn back the clock
Bring the wheels of time to a stop
Back to the days when life was so much better

Why can't I turn back the clock
Bring the wheels of time to a stop
Back to the days
Oh no no
I remember when
Life was so good
I'd go back if I could

Oh oh I wouldn't change a single day
Don't let the memories slip away
I wouldn't change a single day
Don't let the memories slip away

Famous Four Letter Word

Did you know? . . .
In ancient England single people could not have sex unless they had consent of the king. When people wanted to have a baby, they had to get the consent of the king, and the king gave them a placard that they hung on their door while they were having sex. The placard had F. U. C. K. (Fornication Under Consent of the King) on it. Hence that's where the word Fuck came from. Now, aren't you glad you learned something new today?

Or is it this?

The acronym stands for "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge," a legal offense of a few centuries back regarding out-of-wedlock, underage, etc. coupling.

Which is true?? Or are they both false. Your choice.

SHIT!! What it means.

In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship.

It was also before commercial fertilizer's invention, so large shipments of manure were common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet, but once water (at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a
by-product is methane gas.

As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could(and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM! Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening. After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the term "Ship High In Transit" on them which meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production
of methane.

Thus evolved the term "S.H.I.T," which has come down through the Centuries and is in use to this very day. You probably did not know the true history of this word.

One Tree Hill

We turn away to face the cold, enduring chill
As the day begs the night for mercy
Your sun so bright it leaves no shadows, only scars
Carved into stone on the face of earth
The moon is up and over One Tree Hill
We see the sun go down in your eyes
You ran like river to the sea
Like a river to the sea
And in our world a heart of darkness, a firezone
Where poets speak their hearts, then bleed for it
Jara sang his song, a weapon, in the hands of love
You know his blood still cries from the ground
It runs like a river to the sea
Like a river to the sea
I don't believe in painted roses or bleeding hearts
While bullets rape the nights of the merciful
I'll see you again when the stars fall from the sky
And the moon has turned red over One Tree Hill
We run like a river to the sea
Like a river to the sea

With or Without You

See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side
I wait for you
Sleight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
And I wait...without you
With or without you
With or without you
Through the storm we reach the shore
You give it all but I want more
And I'm waiting for you
With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you
And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away
My hands are tied
My body bruised, she's got me with
Nothing left to win
And nothing else to lose
With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you

Jungle warfare!!!!

Had a great time yesterday!!! Woo hoo!!!! Played a game with airsoft guns in a rainforest. It was a blast. Had a couple of leech bites, one on my shin and one near my b**ls, which left my pants stained with blood but what the heck, it was worth it. The most important thing was that we had fun. I must say that you need to have stamina, we had to run from one hill through a river to the next hill to infiltrate the "defenders" camp or fortress to rescue hostages and to recover the flag. The jungle was very densed, it was exiliarating as you don't know where your "enemies" are hiding. The only way to find out where your "enemies" are hidden is to catch any sudden movements among the trees. Had abit of rain, that made it more difficult as the ground became more muddier and slippery. Fell alot of times, had cuts, bruises, insect and leech bites and pellet shots too all over. But what the hey, it is not a "battle" if you don't have any war scars.

Can't wait for the next session to come. Missions are much more interesting as compared to CQB (close quarter combats) because here you can't anticipate when your enemies may strike. My little uzi still does the best job in giving great cover shots. I'll never part with it.

Here are some interesting GUNS to view. I wished that they are legal here. SIGH!
