Tis' The Season

We're almost at the end of the year. Many events are lined up for most of us. Christmas is the season of giving and also sharing. Making a list of gifts to be bought. Friends and families getting together to celebrate joyous moments. There are so many events happening.

And one of them is the Youth Camp. For the youth, this is the event they look forward to yearly.
If you're a youth, make a date with them. You'll definitely enjoy yourself.

Grateful

We're almost at the tail end of the year. I was just reflecting back the days, weeks, months that have come and gone. How fast time has passed us by. I'm really thankful for my business, how God has been there all the way to see my business thru. I've recently heard that there are many companies in the same nature of business that I am in now, are either in financial dilemma or have already folded. Though growth may not be as rapid as I want it to be but I'm thankful, probably He knows what's best for me.

When I see people who are doing well in life, I sometimes want to have a piece of that pie. Well I guess, it's not time for me yet. This month is surprisingly busy for us. So much jobs coming in. Been so busy that I've not even started with the church Christmas flyer. I must really find time to start work on it soon because Christmas is just around the corner. But thank God, I've already an idea of how the concept of the flyer would look like. Hope it will turn out well. Most of all, that people would respond to the invitation. That's all for now. Back to work for me.

A Great Holiday Season and Good Company

Hari Raya was a great time and break for many of us. For us, we went to Cameron Highlands. It was a long and windy drive. The weather up there, during the day it was frightfully warm and came evening onwards, it was delightfully cool to cold. I've learned something, not to plan a trip during a long holiday season, it was jammed at certain parts of the highland. What was more enjoyable, was the company of people. This is the first time I'm actually posting pictures for you to look at.

Cars milling on both sides of one narrow road.

The road was so tight that we've all decided to abandon our vehicles and walk the mile up to Sg. Palas Boh Tea Centre. It was a nice breezy walk up. Had opportunities to stop to look at the scenic tea plantation and even dipped our feet into the cool stream.

Trooping up to the Sg. Palas teahouse.

Welcome to Sg. Palas Boh tea centre.

Here in Boh Tea Centre, you do not have to worry about being hungry after trodding the hills. You will an array of pastries, savouries and not forgetting teas, to fill your hunger pangs and parched throats. Make sure you get the best tables especially the deck area overlooking the tea valley and hills. You'll be awed by the sight and air. With the cool weather, you should have a hot cuppa with your dearest, you'll be warm all the way.

Yummy cakes.

Pies and scones.

Teacino cuppa.

Nice fresh salad to go.

Big warm teapot.

Me with Rachel, erm..... Rae Ann?

Seeing double. Can't blame me for not able to tell them apart.

Tea valley behind us. Crisp cool air.

Join us for a cuppa.

Good company of friends.

Erm.... good company of friends?

Crazy moment with the kids.

All in one picture.

Picking tea leaves.

Whenever you're in Cameron Highlands, make sure you have a steamboat meal. The vegetables are so fresh you can even taste its freshness. They are exceptionally crunchy and tasty. The corn served is so sweet that you can even eat it raw and not to mention juicy too. A steamboat meal is a must.

Dinner time. Organic steamboat. Really sweet vegetables.

Golly! Look at that chimney on the steamboat!

A scene under the pergola.

The farming valley.

Yummy sticks of strawberries ready to be dipped into a fresh pot of honey.

Red juicy strawberries ready to be picked.

Cameron Highlands sure has lots of beautiful flowers. Almost everywhere we went, we could see them in full bloom. They come in assorted of colours and sizes. It was indeed a feast for the eyes.

We had the chance to drop into YTL's Cameron Highlands Resort for a spot of tea. It was a pleasant experience. This resort used to be owned by the Merlin, it has been refurbished and bought over by YTL. It's a very nice place to be in, rather quaint I must say. May consider going there for our anniversary. We've been to YTL's Pangkor Laut Resort and it was a delighful tropical experience altogether.

Here we are enjoying a spot of tea in Jim Thomson's restaurant.

Nice big windows behind us, looks out to a wonderful scenery.

Here's what was behind us, room balconies. It's very colonial.

Sitted cosily with my wife.

The staircase to the resort.

I'm really looking forward to another holiday trip. Year end's coming, I should start planning for a next destination to head to.
